Women's quilted jackets

Quilted jackets are the country classic that every decade re-cut: diamond-quilted waxed-look jackets with cord collars, Liberty and floral prints from the 80s, lightweight 90s nylon quilts, and the padded Y2K versions. We check the quilting for split stitching, every popper and zip, the lining and the pockets, and we note any smell or fading, because these were worn outdoors and it shows. Sizes are given as the label says and as we measure them flat, pit to pit, shoulder and length, and quilted jackets are cut to go over knitwear, so they run roomy. There is one of each. Wear them over a V-neck or a cardigan with high-waisted jeans.
