Yes. If it hasn't been posted yet, use the cancel or return form (or the button in your account) and we refund you in full. Once it is on its way, you can still return it within 14 days of delivery: tell us within 14 days, then post it back within 14 days of telling us.

We post within the UK only. Royal Mail Tracked 48 is £3.95, an InPost locker is £2.99, and delivery is free on orders of £40 or more. The price is the same whatever you order: a coat costs no more to send than a T-shirt.

Orders paid before 3pm Monday to Friday leave the same day. Royal Mail Tracked 48 usually arrives in 2 to 3 working days, an InPost locker in 1 to 3. Each product page shows the expected delivery dates.

As soon as your parcel is posted you get an email with the tracking number and a link to follow it.

Every piece is laid flat and measured by hand in inches: bust or waist, length, sleeve, and for jeans the rise and inseam. The figures are on each product page. Size guide.

Vintage labels follow old or foreign sizing, so a 1990s UK 12 or an Italian 44 rarely matches a UK 12 today. Next to the size on the label we give the UK size the measurements actually correspond to.

Enter your size or your own measurements once in Will it fit? and every product page tells you whether the piece should fit. Each listing also says what our model (5′6″, UK 8) is wearing. Still unsure? Ask us on WhatsApp from any product page.

Yes. Return any piece within 14 days of delivery: tell us within 14 days, then post it back within 14 days of telling us. We refund within 14 days of receiving it back (or of your proof of postage, if that comes first), to your original payment method. Start from your account or the cancel or return form. Tell us with a photo at hello@kitanesque.co.uk or on WhatsApp. If an item is faulty, damaged or not as described, we email you a prepaid returns label and refund you in full as soon as it is back with us. For a change of mind, the return postage is yours.

Yes. Each piece is pre-owned vintage or designer clothing, or a one-off reworked in our Atelier, and there is only one of it. Every item is photographed on a model and described with its real condition, including any marks or signs of age.

Yes. Every piece is washed or cleaned before it is posted to you.

Every designer piece is checked by hand by Andra, who trained in fashion design and has handled vintage labels since we started selling on eBay in 2015. She checks the labels and care tags, the fabric and lining, the stitching and construction, the hardware and any serial or date codes against the brand's known details for that era. If a piece ever turns out not to be genuine, tell us within 30 days of delivery: we email you a prepaid returns label and refund you in full as soon as the piece is back with us.
