Long before this website, Kitanesque sold through the big second-hand marketplaces, and it still does. Those profiles hold every buyer review, unedited, so they are the honest record of how we trade:

kitanesque.co.uk opened in August 2026 so that buyers can shop the whole collection in one place, with measurements, fit notes and delivery straight from us.

How every piece is listed

  • Measured flat, by hand. Bust, waist, hips, length, rise and inseam, whatever applies, are in each listing.
  • Checked by hand first. Labels, care tags, fabric, stitching, hardware and codes, before anything goes on sale: how we check every piece.
  • The label is photographed. You see the brand, the size on the tag and the fabric content yourself.
  • Shown on a real body. Our model is 5′6″ and a UK 8; each listing says what she is wearing and whether it is pinned.
  • Condition in plain words. Fading, a repaired seam or a mark on a hem is described and photographed, not hidden.
  • Not sure? Will it fit? compares your measurements with every piece in stock, and the size guide explains vintage labels.

Buying here safely

  • Payment: card, Apple Pay or Google Pay through Stripe, or Klarna and Clearpay instalments. We never see your card number. A credit card purchase over £100 is also covered by Section 75.
  • Delivery: order by 3pm on a working day and it is posted the same day — Royal Mail Tracked 48 (£3.95) or an InPost locker (£2.99), free on orders of £40 or more, UK only for now.
  • Returns: return any piece within 14 days of delivery: tell us within 14 days, then post it back within 14 days of telling us. We pay the postage if a piece is faulty or not as described. Details on Shipping & Returns, and you can start a return online from Cancel or return.

Questions buyers ask

Is Kitanesque a real, legitimate shop?
Yes. Kitanesque Ltd is a UK limited company (company number 17442810, registered in England and Wales, ICO registration ZC244693). The same shop has sold on eBay since 2015 (100% positive feedback) and on Vinted (99.6% positive from 1,550+ reviews), with 1,750+ pieces sold across the two. Card payments on this site are processed by Stripe through WooPayments; we never see or store your card number.

Why is the website new if you have sold since 2015?
For years we sold only through marketplaces — eBay, Vinted and Depop — and we still do. kitanesque.co.uk opened in August 2026 and Kitanesque Ltd was incorporated in September 2026 so that we could sell directly as well. The marketplace profiles carry the full buyer history, unedited.

Where are you based? Can I visit?
We are in Worcestershire, England, and sell online only. The registered office is our accountant’s office in Worcester, not a shop — nothing is sold or stocked there, so there is nothing to visit; email hello@kitanesque.co.uk or message us on WhatsApp and you will get a reply from the person who photographed and measured the piece.

How do I know a piece will fit?
Every piece is measured flat by hand and the measurements are in the listing, next to the size on the label, which is photographed. Clothes are shown on our model (5 ft 6 in, UK 8). The Will it fit? page compares your own measurements with every piece in stock.

What if it does not fit or is not as described?
Return any piece within 14 days of delivery: tell us within 14 days, then post it back within 14 days of telling us. If it is faulty or not as described we pay the return postage; for a change of mind the return postage is yours. Refunds go back to the original payment method within 14 days of the return reaching us.

How is my payment protected?
You pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay through Stripe, or in instalments with Klarna or Clearpay. Paying by credit card for an item over £100 also gives you Section 75 protection from your card provider.

How fast is delivery, and do you ship abroad?
Orders placed by 3pm on a working day (Monday to Friday) are posted the same day by Royal Mail Tracked 48 (£3.95, usually two to three working days) or to an InPost locker (£2.99); delivery is free on orders of £40 or more. For now we deliver within the UK only.
