Angels was one of the American junior denim labels that filled US malls in the early 2000s: ultra-low rises, contrast stitching, embroidered flap pockets and the occasional pink thread on a dark wash. The company trades today as Angels Forever Young, but the pieces people search for are the Y2K originals.
What size is an Angels jean? US junior sizing, which runs a size or two smaller than UK. Our pairs measure 6.5 to 7.5 inches at the front rise, so we list the flat waist, hip, rise and inseam and you go by those.
Anything to watch for on Angels jeans? Stretch denim from that era loses its recovery, so we photograph the waistband flat and mention any bagging at the knee.
