Lady Be Good
Lady Be Good skirts measured by hand: 2 pieces (1 in stock), UK 12–14, from £58.50, one of each.
Lady Be Good was a British knitwear label of the 1980s, Made in England on the tag, that specialised in the co-ord before anyone used the word: knitted dresses with matching cardigans and jackets, cream and natural shades, linen blends for summer. The company has gone and left almost no paper trail, which makes the surviving sets the whole record.
How does an 80s Lady Be Good knit set fit? Loosely, and the labels of the time often said one size or a range. We measure each piece of the set flat and list them separately.
What do you check on a Lady Be Good knit set? Composition and Made in England labels, seams, buttons and any pulls or moth marks in the knit, photographed on both pieces.
